Music, Food & Community Celebration Set for September 11 at Miami Dade
College’s Wolfson Campus
MIAMI, FL — September 3, 2026 —
In celebration of Cuban Heritage Month, the MVM invites the
community to an unforgettable evening celebrating Cuban history, culture,
family, and tradition at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus Auditorium on Friday,
September 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Titled “Our History, Our
Tradition,” the special cultural event will bring the community
together for an evening dedicated to honoring the stories, traditions, and
experiences that have helped shape South Florida’s Cuban-American community.
The centerpiece of the evening will be the
premiere of the documentary “Two Families, One Home,” a
fascinating and deeply moving story about three Pedro Pan brothers, The
Cepero Brothers, (Eloy Cepero), whose journey from Cuba to the United
States forever changed their lives. The film explores a remarkable story of
separation, family, perseverance, hope, and, above all, love.
“This is much more than a documentary
premiere,” said representatives of the MVM. “It is an
opportunity to come together, remember our history, celebrate our heritage, and
share a story of three brothers whose extraordinary journey represents an
important part of the Cuban-American experience.”
The evening will also feature a Salsa
Show, live music, complimentary food and beverages, and a community
celebration designed to bring people of all generations together.
